About the class

Our Musical Theatre Technique classes offer a dynamic, all-round training in the essential skills of musical theatre—singing, dancing, and acting — while building confidence and stage presence. Designed for different age groups (4-8, 9-13, 14-18), these weekly three-hour sessions provide a fun, engaging, and supportive space for students to explore their passion for performance.

Students will develop their vocal technique, learning breath control, vocal health, and projection, while honing their ability to connect to lyrics and tell a story through song. They’ll also gain experience in movement and choreography, building coordination, rhythm, and confidence in performance. Classes are structured to suit each age group, ensuring younger students learn through playful creativity, while older students focus on technical ability and performance refinement.

Every session includes opportunities to perform for peers and tutors, helping students grow comfortable on stage, overcome nerves, and refine their craft. For older students, the year culminates in an exciting musical theatre showcase, where they’ll have the chance to shine in group and solo performances.

Led by industry professionals, students will be exposed to a range of musical theatre styles, from classic Broadway hits to contemporary West End numbers, ensuring a well-rounded experience.
