Glasgow Acting Academy produces multiple shows throughout the year. We provide opportunities for all ages to develop their skills on the stage and create memories that last a lifetime. Auditioning for shows whether you are successful or not is developing skills.
Rumpelstiltskin

Have you heard the news? There is a dodgy hooded figure cuttin' aboot the streets of Glesga stealing all they can get whilst lurking in the lanes, scaring aw the weans and spinning more than just lies! Meanwhile, poor wee Heather is struggling to impress her in-laws (the literal King and Queen of the Kingdom) in order to marry their son (the literal heir to the throne.) Join us as we unravel the mystery and mischief of Glasgow Acting Academy's 2026 panto 'Rumpelstiltskin.'

Theatre Des Grimm
AGES 14-18
Once upon a time, in a far away land, there was a troupe of players whose traveling stage took them all over the world. While their performances were applauded and admired by all who had witnessed them, a happily ever after was not to be had backstage.
Theatre Des Grimm takes some well known stories and some that maybe should’ve been left forgotten and explores the lives of those who performed them. Come, take a peek behind the curtain, but do not expect to find a fairytale.

The Unfortunate Events
AGES 10-14

Some stories take place in a chocolate factory, an enchanted forest, or on an island where there is hidden treasure.
Sadly, this is no such happy story...
Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire are intelligent and resourceful children. They are also incredibly unlucky. When a blaze in their home kills their parents, they are left to navigate a world of crooks, leeches, terrible actors and stolen fortunes all on their own.
With misfortune at every turn, the Baudelaires must rely on their wits, their talents and each other to escape the unfortunate events that seem determined to follow them.
